Louise is highly motivated with a strong business acumen gained across a variety of sectors ranging from blue chip to franchise and a number of large charities, as well as 10 years self employed running her own retail business. Louise joined Sanitation First in September 2013.
David continues to inspire the direction of the organisation through his role as Director of Operations. With a background in marketing he is a passionate supporter of systems that permanently reduce child mortality and alleviate poverty, and firmly believes that the only way for development aid to be effective is a radical overhaul of the existing system.
David has a strong commitment to helping others, he has volunteered for a local hospice, as a Samaritan and was a member of the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Shepton Mallet.
Sanitation First India is led by Dr Shunmuga Paramasivan who has over 40 years experience directly relating to the implementation of sanitation and water (WASH) projects. With two Ph.Ds. in the development of WASH programmes. Previously he worked as an advisor for Care India Tsunami Programme and Country Representative for Water Aid.
With proven expertise in: programme management and systems development; donor liaison and fundraising; financial management; sectorial analysis and learning. Dr Paramasivan is an accomplished and inspiring team leader, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
